»I am very happy we got the opportunity to attend a job interview on the last day of our project week. It was a simulation, but we took it very seriously,« one of the students from Center IRIS said after her first »job interview«.

Members of the Amcham Young Leaders Club are cooperating with the IRIS Center for Education, Rehabilitation, Inclusion and Counselling for the Blind and Partially Sighted under the initiative Giving Back to the Community. Our goal is to empower their blind and partially sighted students as equal members of society with equal opportunities. The students of Center IRIS met employers (YLC members) on one of the first official events, which was held in the context of Project week. In the next months, the cooperation activities will continue, and all of our efforts will be directed into raising awareness of employers about benefits that come with blind and partially sighted employees.
