USAlumni is the joint project of the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia (AmCham) and the U.S. Embassy in Slovenia with the aim to bring together Slovenian alumni of U.S. Government-sponsored programs, as well as Slovenians who either attended and got a degree from a U.S. university and/or worked in the U.S. for at least one year in a management position.

Following last year’s launch of USAlumni, we have attracted a large and impressive array of talented, successful Slovenians. This year, we are pleased to expand prestigious USAlumni group to include alumni who had the opportunity to be part of the exclusive International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), organized by the U.S. State Department. We think this inclusion will help us more deeply fulfill the core goals of USAlumni: to create new opportunities for a deeper U.S.-Slovenian cooperation through the exchange of valuable professional experience and knowledge, creating more powerful ties in social and economic life spheres. We believe USAlumni is an important bridge between Slovenia and the United States, supporting space of firm friendship.

For the purpose of networking and strengthening the contacts among USAlumni members, AmCham Slovenia and the U.S. Embassy annually organize 2-3 events, some thematic, some by popular demand from our members. USAlumni members also have the opportunity to be included in our Experts Database, a great tool for members seeking jobs and companies seeking experienced and highly skilled workers!
