Slovenia Business Run, an international event endorsed by AmCham Slovenia, kindly invites you and your colleagues to combine fun, exercise, networking and charity on May 22, 2015 on the Shores of Lake Bled.

Slovenia Business Run is a relay competition of 3-member company teams in running. Each member runs one lap (6 km) around the only natural island of Slovenia on the shores of the idyllic lake Bled, and, with a clap of hands, passes the (imaginary) baton to the next member of the team, who then starts to run.

The event brings together active employees of companies that embody team spirit and foster an active lifestyle both in business and leisure. The teams compete for pride and glory in three categories: all male, all female and mixed teams. Lap times of all three team members add up for the team’s final score.

However, clapping hands in the relay is only a part of the event’s focus. The relaxed atmosphere after the race encourages exchange of opinions and ideas, and provides a perfect opportunity for casual networking and fun with colleagues and new friends. All participants enjoy a social dinner, followed by an entertainment program and award ceremony, which will be held at Kavarna Park terrace, overlooking the lake.

Each finished lap around the lake contributes to the charitable fund which is dedicated to help men and women with learning disabilities to achieve their goals.

Slovenia Business Run 2015 will be held at Bled on Friday, May 22, 2015.
