For whom is the AmCham Young Professionals ProgramTM intended?

The AmCham Young Professionals ProgramTM is meant for promising, active population between 25 and 33 years of age, who prove to have a leadership potential, high ethic principles, wish to develop personally and professionally and are aware of the importance of communication, social networks, are open-minded, vigorous, tenacious, they search for new knowledge and experiences and wish to upgrade their skills and competencies.

They need to have the following characteristics

Responsibility; Ambitiousness; Communicativeness; Creativity; High Integrity; Having passion to work; Professionalism; Being socially responsible; Motivators; Visionary; Being emphatic; Of principle.

Enroll them in the AmCham Young Professional ProgramTM and as great business leader show that you are aware of the importance of business and personal development of the colleague. The development of employees means the development of a company and society as a whole.

The proposition of the candidate is a high motivation and acknowledgment.

Obligations of the participants

Proactive participation at the meetings (organized once a month) and fulfillment of the given tasks.

Conditions of admission

We trust the proposer that their candidates will be chosen / proposed in good faith and on the basis of the mentioned characteristics.

The program is free of charge for those employed at the members of the American Chamber of Commerce – AmCham Slovenia. Only the registration fee of 100 EUR per candidate is to be paid. (VAT not included).

The program is entirely free of charge for the patrons.

For the non-members, outstanding individuals, the charge of the program is 1000 EUR + 100 EUR – registration fee (+VAT).

Each member may propose two candidates. The patrons may propose the additional third candidate.

The number of candidates is limited to 120. In case of exceeding the limited number we will be able to accept only the first application from each company. The limitation does not apply to patrons.

As concerns the non-members, the outstanding individuals, we have set 5 places for apart. They will be chosen according to the judgment of the Leadership Committee. The applicant should write a reference letter for such candidates. The candidate should also enclose a motivation letter with reasons why he / she is suitable for the AmCham Young Professionals Program.
