In the new global business context, with the uncertainties and opportunities it brings, companies are once again seeking a strong strategic position for growth. While some business improvement approaches are targeting leaner execution and process optimization, often called exploitation, others are seeking new opportunities for growth or exploration.

Both exploration and exploitation are needed and should be in balance. However, we have found that the traditional company cultures and the HR hiring profiles were designed for employees to exploit the current business and not for employees to help explore new opportunity.

To sieze new opportunities, HR leaders are looking to new skills, competencies and mindsets, and adapting their hiring, training and professional development. Where CEO's can make a big  difference is bringing all company stakeholders – management, employees, customers, ecosystem partners – into a new rhythm and cocreative conversation. CEOs and CHRO's together can have the biggest potential impact – by changing their own organizational context and environment (culture) and developing all the talents and capabilities we need for our new agile age.

Presenters will introduce you a new holistic framework for leading your company and teams to an adaptive, agile, entrepreneurial style. The framework is a model for "business opportunity and solution discovery" called the NextGen Business Competencies radar. The radar can be a management guide and reference model and also a tool for HR leaders to assess and measure the innovation competencies and skills in their firms, to help focus on areas where maturity is needed.
