Justin Featherstone, who was our special guest at the closing meeting of AmCham Young Professionals of the 3rd Generation, through his amazing personal story depicted the importance of values for personal, social and professional success.
Justin Featherstone is a leadership and expedition consultant, adventurous pursuits instructor and occasionally TV and Radio media contributor and presenter, specialized in leadership and organizational culture, supported by values-based ethos. In his lecture, enriched by inspirational stories, taken especially from his expeditions, he pointed out his awareness of the importance of his vocation in life and business. He discussed the topics about what makes leaders successful, why although successful, leaders sometimes fail, how to overcome disappointment or fall, which values are important to him for persisting in vocation, how to confront difficult situations and tests.
It was a lecture on willpower, energy and determination.
