AmCham Committees, in which more than 230 professionals are actively participating for change, are working constantly on the improvement of the business environment in Slovenia. Nine Committees and two Working Groups, a third Working Group being established on the topic of Education, have prepared concrete proposals for a more competitive Slovenia which are gathered in the new AmCham Publication “For a more competitive Business Environment in Slovenia”.

In 2015 work of our Committees and Working Groups will be one of our main focus points, because we care and because we are aware that it is possible to achieve changes only with the cooperation of the state, economy and civil society.

Slovenia is constantly falling on the competitiveness rankings and it is time to reverse this trend. Therefore, we defined industrial policy and niche opportunities, which should be the ones that increase the attractiveness of the business environment or country, and in accordance with the adopted measures that would bring additional short-term investments and thus jobs. We should promote the culture of creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation.

We kindly thank to all you of who have contributed to the position papers and to our new publication, you can skim through it HERE.
