On 12th October 2010 AmCham organized Business Luncheon at Hotel Slon. Our guest was prof. dr. Bojan Pretnar. According to prof. dr. Pretnar, intellectual property (IP) has a tremendous importance in modern knowledge economy, which has caused an intense political debate about pros and cons of IP regime. He made comments on three hot topics arising out of this confusion: plain packaging, patentability of software, and pharmaceutical patents.
