American Chamber of Commerce in Slovenia is for the second consecutive year organizing a visit of representatives of breakthrough companies in the United States. American Chamber of Commerce – AmCham Slovenia in cooperation with the Public Agency Spirit, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Washington, D.C. and local business partners with a total of more than 300 participants from 14 countries attended the World Trade Day, the most important international business meeting in Denver and therefore took advantage of an exceptional opportunity for business meetings and networking.

State of Colorado gained recognition last year as the fastest growing business environment in the U.S. (Source: Business Insider 2014) and recognition as one of the most attractive business environments for enterprise development and innovation (Source: U.S. Chamber of Commerce 2014). World Trade Day 2015 organized by the World Trade Center Denver, represents an important international business meeting and an interesting platform for connecting and networking. Slovenian businesses have enjoyed great interest from local enterprises for business meetings and networking in addition to an exciting program that was held throughout the day.

Bozo Cerar, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Washington, D.C. he continued, »I am pleased that the organizer of the World Trade Center Denver recognized the potential of economic cooperation with the Slovenian delegation among all 14 countries that were present here, and really devoted us a lot of attention. Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia strongly encourages and supports initiatives and activities of economic cooperation between the U.S. and Slovenia, and at the same time along with this type of delegations, businesses and business networking strives to bring the businesses concrete results, quality business contacts and successful business stories

On May 18, 2015 immediately upon arrival in Denver, Lucky Vidmar, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia in Colorado welcomed the Slovenian delegation. At the reception held by the honorary consul were representatives of the Slovenian community and Slovenian friends, among them were also Major General H. Michael Edwards and dr. Ronald M. Sega.



Business trip to Colorado will take place between May 18 and 22, 2015. Supporters of the business delegation are the Public Agency SPIRIT Slovenia and Slovenian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
