The sixth generation of young leaders completed the AmCham Young Professionals

TM

program. Among the five super-finalists, superstars of the evening, the AmCham Top Potential of the Year 2016 title was awarded to Nina Langerholc Čebokli from the Ministry of Public Administration.

At the final AmCham Young ProfessionalsTM ceremony, which took place on June 8, 2016, in the atrium of the Slovenian central Post Office, the audience and the AmCham committee chose the winner of the AmCham Top Potential of the Year 2016. The prestigious title was awarded to Nina Langerholc Čebokli, Head of Cabinet at the Ministry of Public Administration.

'AmCahmmmm, I know you want it, I know you got it. AmChammm Top Five Potential, I know you want it.' was the superstar-like singing intro into the competitive part of the evening, by its moderator Jan Bučar. The common thread of the entire evening was based on the values of leadership and the finalists had a tough challenge – how to present these values on stage? The super-finalists had to show a great deal of ingenuity and creativity. They had to convince the audience and the committee through pantomime, drawing and rock-music screaming. As an excellent motivator, Nina Langerholc Čebokli was the most convincing.

Upon receiving the title and a sculpture in the shape of an angel, a work by painter and sculptor Mik Simčič, the winner said: "This title is an acknowledgment of all the effort I have invested in my personal growth so far. What is even more important – it is a confirmation that perseverance and overcoming obstacles are worth it. When the results are here, all the hard work pays off."

The honorary patron of the program, U.S. Ambassador to Slovenia, Brent R. Hartley, pointed out: "I met some of the 6th generation participants last week and was impressed by their optimistic outlook on the future and the business climate in Slovenia. They convinced me that Slovenia really is just the right size to become a green reference country in digital Europe. Stay positive and committed to achieving change. I believe that AmCham Young Professionals will successfully build the future of Slovenia."

Ajša Vodnik, MSc, Executive Director of AmCham Slovenia and co-author of the program, commented on the successfully completed 6th year of the AmCham Young Professionals TM program: "We learned a lot from each of the generations. The current, sixth generation, taught us that it is important to compete when trying to be the best, and at the same time cooperate when opening up opportunities for others. I look forward to the 7th generation. To us, young professionals are an inexhaustible source of positive energy and our motivation for positive changes. "

Tomaž švajger, Doctrina, AmCham Top Potential of the Year 2015, about what the title meant for him: “The Top Potential title brought inner peace, a confirmation, a 180-degree turn into my life. I changed my job to one that is stimulating and I am happy to also be a part of other AmCham Slovenia programs. The award was only the beginning of my participation in the AmCham Slovenia community."
