The daily newspaper Dnevnik each year carries out a unique project in Slovenia – a selection of the best entrepreneurs – entitled the Golden Thread. The Golden Thread is a media-research project that was created on the initiative of Dnevnik and economic and human resource experts in the year 2007 and is this year continuing already with its sixth selection.

Be part of the final round of the selection of the best entrepreneurs among 21 finalists, which will be held on Thursday, 21 March 2013, at 6 p.m., at the Lutkovno gledališče Ljubljana, (Ljubljana Puppet Theatre), Krekov trg 2, Ljubljana.

Dnevnik recognizes and promotes enterprises that are role-models and thus inspires both private and public sectors. The selection is aimed at the impact on the dynamic development of employees and organizations and at the contribution of competitiveness of the Slovenian economy. Therefore Dnevnik co-creates social dynamics and acts as a socially responsible organization.

The most relevant data for placing the enterprises on the list of best employers is in evaluation of the marks that employees give to the quality of relation between employees and organizations. The average mark that was given by 7027 employees in the year 2012 was 3.72 (on the scale between 1 and 5).

The project Golden Thread is this year supported by many partners, among which is also AmCham Slovenia.
