Simbioz@ is the biggest volunteer project of this fall which will take place between 17th and 21st October. In e-literacy week young volunteers will teach elders how to use computer on free e-workshops all over Slovenia. Main goal of project is to connect generations, enable elders their first contact and positive experience with computer and show the meaning of volunteering and intergenerational cooperation to the young through interesting and pleasant experience. The project has high goals and wishes to address 300.000 elders and 200.000 of the young.
Making this goal a reality is possible with the help and support of our main sponsors and supporters: AmCham, Microsoft Slovenija and Telekom Slovenije. Also, Nelie Kroes, European Commissioner for Digital Agenda became honorary patron of the project as you can check on this video. As important members of AmCham and Slovenian society, we would also like to invite you to support the project, become a volunteer, organize Simbioz@ event in your own company or get involved in the project in any other way.
