Meeting with Sašo Matas, Director General, Public Procurement Directorate, MJU

The meeting was held in order to discuss a new proposal of the Public Procurement (ZJN-3) Law. Sašo Matas briefly presented the key changes, along with his comments and an explanation. The law should not bring major changes, but it does provide for some uncertainty during the first two years after its adoption. The law should be adopted by the end of this year and come into force on April 1, 2016. The Public Procurement Directorate will organize and implement training courses and is also willing to organize a conference, presenting practical examples, for AmCham members.
