Ajša Vodnik, MSc, CEO of AmCham Slovenia, was elected Vice Chair of AmChams in Europe. Slovenia will now take over its seat for two years and become the center of the organization, which represents 44 AmChams from 42 European and Eurasian countries.


The international organization AmChams in Europe, established in 1963, serves as the umbrella organization for 44 American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams) from 42 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia. They represent the interests of more than 17,000 American and European companies employing 20 million workers. The estimated value of these companies' investments, on both sides of the Atlantic, is $ 1.1 trillion. As a bilateral voice of American and European companies, AmChams in Europe works to communicate the importance of the transatlantic economy in both Europe and the United States.


Besides Mrs. Vodnik, who will take over the two-year term of Vice Chair of AmChams in Europe on January 1, 2019, the representatives of the Netherlands, Ukraine, Sweden, Albania, Montenegro and the United Kingdom will also be in the leadership of the organization.


The appointment is an exceptional recognition for Ajša Vodnik, as well as for AmCham Slovenia, a business community of optimism and opportunities, as it is a confirmation that we are doing good and we can connect people even beyond our borders.
