Yesterday the co-chairs of the AmCham Slovenia advocacy committees met with the president of AmCham Slovenia – Blaž Brodnjak, MSc, CEO of NLB, and the newly formed advisory group of the advocacy of AmCham Slovenia. They addressed this year’s main advocacy topics: health, knowledge, international competitiveness, sustainability, and meritocracy & transparency. They have also addressed the topics and positions of each committee, their work strategy, and the plans for the future of AmCham advocacy.
Eight working committees are operating in AmCham Slovenija’s advocacy framework, and these include over 320 representatives of companies, our members who are experts in their fields.
Notably, the participants stressed the importance for businesses to be vocal. AmCham Slovenia will, together with you, our members, continue representing a voice of our international community and continue to be devoted to working in the spirit of a culture of dialogue and connecting with different stakeholders to achieve a better business environment and quality of life in Slovenia.
