A Clear Vision For the Future

The FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) Summit 2013 Slovenia will be a major international business event focusing on foreign direct investment and current development issues, specifically the measures for generating growth in the current volatile European and global economic environment.

The theme of the summit will be “A Clear Vision For The Future” to highlight that endless and often self destructive political discussion is not what Slovenia needs but rather immediate action in terms of active economic policy and adoption of crucial structural changes.

The 2013 summit will be held in Ljubljana at the Faculty of Economics on 17th September 2013 with up to 30 speakers participating in seven round table discussions and evening reception, all together with more than 200 participants from Slovenia and abroad attending.

Steering committee comprising the CEO and the Editor-in-Chief of The Slovenia Times; Professor Dušan Mramor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana; Peter Kraljič, Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Co. Inc.; Japec Jakopin, co-founder and co-owner, Seaway Group; Christof Droste, Managing Director of Hella Saturnus and Slovenian Manager of the Year 2011 and Marjan Hribar, Director of Directorate for Tourism and Internationalisation, Ministry for Economic Development and Tecnology.
