Dear AmCham Young Leaders Club, 


To kick off the new season, we will be investigating the correlation between nutrition, brain health and quality of life, as well as preventative measures to help mitigate and control chronic diseases. Our guest will be Dr. David Katz, the founding director of Yale University’s Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center and founder and CEO of Diet IDTM.  


 

Dr. Katz is the founding director of Yale University’s Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center. The Research Center is a collaborative academic and community partnership which includes community partners, local health and education agencies as well as other universities. Simultaneously, he is the founder and CEO of Diet IDTM, an innovative, scientifically-validated tool, used by doctors, nutritionists and food companies, that helps improve diet and the adoption of healthy behaviors. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to public health and has received three honorary doctorates. He is a prolific author, having authored roughly 200 peer-reviewed publications as well as 16 books to date, including The Truth About Food and Disease-Proof. He is a skilled public speaker and has spoken at numerous conferences around the world including TEDxMindStreamAcademy, Mayo Clinic Transform and EAT Food Forum.
