at the Austria Trend Hotel, Dunajska 154, Ljubljana. 



Let’s create a ‘Dr. House’ environment for talented doctors and give patients a treatment by the ‘Bergdoktor.’ Healthcare is not a TV show. In reality, the healthcare system is extremely complex, and good organization is crucial.



Good practices in optimization of healthcare processes, organization and systemic solutions that are already in place or could be introduced into the Slovenian healthcare system will be presented in short ‘treatments’ by Slovenian and foreign experts.


Why are we uncertain about good solutions in healthcare?

If they work, let’s use them.

Expert in the field of health economics and the healthcare system in Austria. In last ten years he worked in numerous European countries, among them Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland.



Introductory discussion will be led by Vida Dolenc Pogačnik, Deputy Director and International Cooperation Leader, AmCham Slovenia.

Participation at AmCham Focus is free-of-charge for AmCham Members. However, please note that the number of seats is limited. For additional participants/members, the participation fee amounts to a 50% discounted participation fee; i.e. 25 EUR+VAT, whereas for non-members the participation fee amounts to 50 EUR+VAT. Exceptions are Ambassadors, Deputy Chiefs of Mission and Public Administration Employees. Reservation cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event. Unfortunately, we will have to charge the whole participation fee for no-shows.
