Guest at the meeting was Miranda Groff-Ferjančič,M.Sc, Director General of the Department for Public Private Partnership at the Ministry of Finance.

Mrs. Groff-Ferjančič presented guidelines for this year:

-no major amendments of legislation are expected in the near future

-at the EU level, new directive is expected

-ZJN-Public Procurement Act: one of the goals of this Act is to reduce financial indiscipline

-3 new regulations are expected this year: green procurement, ethical behavior at public procurement procedures ( particularly in construction ) and regulation of education for contractors

Ministry of Finance will continue to work closely with AmCham Public Procurement Committee. A meeting with different subjects (Državna revizijska komisija, Ministrstvo za javno upravo …) will be organized at the end of this year.
