After the AmCham breakfast stay for Day 2 of the FDI Summit Slovenia 2012. This is an opportunity to hear about the key issues of energy and finances. Key speakers on the day include Randy Galm from Westinghouse in the panel addressing Energy as a Key to International Competitiveness and Christoph Freiherr von Speshardt who will share the German initiatives for energy efficient buildings and the government schemes which have also resulted in employment in the sector.
The Finance Minister, Janez Šušteršic, fresh from the previous day’s budget discussions, will then participate in the discussion on foreign capital and development.
The final panel, which includes President Danilo Türk, will debate the issue of why Slovenia must be more open to foreign capital.
