Members of the AmCham Resilience & Responsibility Committee met on October 21, 2026, to discuss the committee’s priorities and strategic direction for the coming period. The meeting was co-chaired by Miha Valentinčič (Avant Car) and Živa Jezernik (Triglav Investments).
The discussion focused on supply chain resilience, food and energy security, and the importance of creating a stable and predictable environment for business development. Members also highlighted the need for legislative and regulatory changes to be designed with a clear understanding of their financial and operational impact on businesses.
In the period ahead, the committee will focus its activities on energy security, mobility, food resilience, and the identification of regulatory barriers, where the business community can work together to develop initiatives that support a more competitive, sustainable, and resilient business environment.
The meeting reinforced the view that resilience is no longer solely about responding to crises. Today, it is a key driver of long-term competitiveness, sustainable development, and economic stability in Slovenia.
