Startup Overseas 2024: After the Training, Into Action – Austin Awaits Us!

The Startup Overseas Program 2024 is in full swing, and we are getting ready to send Slovenian startups to Austin, Texas. The final training session has just wrapped up, giving companies important legal advice and hands-on experience to help them succeed in the U.S.

Leading the session were experts from the law firm Senica and Partners—Uroš Čop, Lucijan Klemenčič, and Faris Grabus. They covered key legal topics, such as choosing the best business structure, protecting intellectual property, and understanding U.S. regulations.

To make the training even more interactive, they designed short workshops where companies worked together to tackle legal challenges. This collaborative approach helped participants apply what they learned and better prepare for real-world situations in the U.S. market.

This was the final session in a series of trainings aimed at preparing Slovenian startups for their U.S. expansion and these companies are now ready to take the next big step as they head to Austin, ready to grow their businesses on an international scale.
