The AmChams in Europe Executive Committee (ExCo) yesterday gathered in Bled for a strategic session hosted by Ajša Vodnik, Chair of AmChams in Europe. The meeting focused on defining key priorities for 2026, reinforcing the network’s commitment to a stable and competitive transatlantic business environment.
Representatives from Greece, Germany, Sweden, Moldova, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Slovenia have been elected to the Executive Committee (ExCo) of AmChams in Europe (ACE), with a clear mandate: to strengthen the ACE umbrella organization, which connects 49 AmChams across 47 countries, and to further enhance transatlantic business collaboration.
Ajša Vodnik, CEO of AmCham Slovenia, serves as Chair of AmChams in Europe, leading the ExCo in advancing a unified European voice within the transatlantic business community.
The newly elected ExCo met in Bled for its strategic session, focusing on aligning priorities and defining initiatives for 2026. The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to business cooperation and to strengthening coordination among national AmChams across Europe.
At the heart of the discussions was a clear message: the transatlantic partnership is too large, too interconnected, and too important for prosperity to be undermined by short-term political turbulence or unilateral measures. AmChams , therefore, continue to advocate dialogue and pragmatic solutions. Preserving open trade and investment flows and maintaining strong economic cooperation remain essential for both Europe and the United States, a reality well understood by the business community.
As preparations for 2026 move forward, the ExCo remains focused on strengthening the ACE network, deepening cooperation, and supporting a stable, resilient, and competitive transatlantic economic environment.
