We opened the new business season with a powerful EnergAIzer – AmCham Business Leaders Club Event, welcoming Dheeraj Pandey, visionary entrepreneur and founder of Nutanix, transforming enterprise infrastructure and creating one of Silicon Valley’s most celebrated success stories and DevRev, which achieved unicorn status in record time and is now considered a benchmark for companies built on data, design, and user focus. 

He spoke openly about his entrepreneurial journey, stressing that taking risks has been at the heart of every step. For him, entrepreneurship is about perseverance, courage, and above all people: “Good things happen when you find not mercenaries, but missionaries.” He highlighted the importance of attention to detail, fast learning, and creating culture of honesty and ambition.

On AI, Pandey underlined both the opportunities and misconceptions. While some reports suggest that productivity gains are still modest, he believes the real transformation will come as younger generations, already native users of AI tools, enter the workforce in greater numbers. He encouraged leaders to focus not on fears of AI, but on seeing it as shifting the problem statements we tackle – opening doors to greater innovation and progress. The biggest misconception, he noted, is underestimating AI’s long-term impact. Leaders should put their attention on responsible adoption, knowledge management, and cultural readiness to embrace this change.
