Dear AmCham Slovenia Members,

Slovenia has heart, brains, and determination. But the key to the future has only one name: talent.

How can we become a country where local talent sees its future – and international talent finds its opportunity?

The AmCham Future of Work and Education Committee invites you to the AmCham Business Breakfast titled:

We will talk about talent. About the young, driven by curiosity, energy, and fresh ideas. About the experienced, who bring wisdom, knowledge, and stability. And above all, about the power that emerges when these worlds connect.

These are not just generational questions. This is the future of Slovenia. A question of competitiveness. A question of attractiveness. A question of collaboration.

Be part of the discussion on how to create a country where talent grows, stays, and arrives.

What do the numbers reveal, and what story do they tell about the future of work, knowledge, productivity, and Slovenia’s ability to attract talent?

Peter Wostner, PhD, from the Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Development and Vice-Chair of the OECD Regional Development Policy Committee, will open the breakfast with his introductory address.

After the keynote, we will open a dialogue on the future of Slovenian talent and the ecosystems that support it, together with:

  • Matevž Frangež is State Secretary at the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, responsible for industry, entrepreneurship, internationalization, development resources, space, and tourism. He is a law graduate with extensive experience in politics and business.

She has more than 30 years of international experience in strategic management, investment, and financing.
