»SLOVENIJA : U.S. SPORTS CUP«

AmCham Slovenia is together with the Embassy of the United States of America to the Republic of Slovenia kindly inviting you to the amusing – sports – family picnic. There will be various events organized, among them a tennis tournament, football, volleyball, basketball, besides we will together cheer for the teams and have fun watching the entertaining sports games between known Slovenes and the U.S. Embassy teams.

The children will under guidance of experienced animators have the opportunity to attend sports games or workshops with a charitable note.

In the end, the winning team of Slovenia : U.S. Sports Cup will be symbolically granted the Challenge Cup.

PROGRAM:

2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Arrival and entries for competition

3 p.m. Tennis tournament 1:1 – for all participants

3.30 p.m. Show game volleyball on the sand – Slovenia (well-known Slovenes playing) vs. USA

4.30 p.m. Show game basketball – Slovenia (well-known Slovenes playing) vs. USA

5.30 p.m. Show game football – Slovenia (well-known Slovenes playing) vs. USA

7 p.m. Charity sale of products made by children

7.30 p.m. Granting of the Challenge Cup Slovenia : U.S. Sports CUP to the winning team

8 p.m. – 9 p.m. Social gathering

Your entries are expected by Friday, 10 June 2011 to the following e-mail: business@amcham.si.

There will be no entrance fee, however the food and beverages are to be paid.

Upon the proposal of AmCham CSR Committee, AmCham Slovenia will contribute 5 EUR per each participant attending to the ZPMS (Slovenian Association of Friends of Youth) for enabling holidays to socially handicapped children. The children will spend a week at Kranjska Gora at the Happy Holidays Language Camp.
