Dear AmCham Slovenia members and friends,

We cordially invite you to the Combo AmCham Business Breakfast

Slovenia 2021: Development, Resilience, and Opportunities in Response to the Crisis

We Know What. Do We Know How?

Countries have taken different approaches to recover after the Pandemic, but common to all is the need to point their economies in the direction of digital and green. There is no doubt that recovery and progress will also rely on public-private partnerships, investment in science and development, and an active economy. Slovenia is intensively preparing to step into the recovery phase, and among other instruments, an amount of €5.2 billion will be made available under the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility between 2021-2027. Where else are other opportunities?

  • What are the key focus areas of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, and what plan
  • did Slovenia send to Brussels?
  • What is the role of the business in recovery from the pandemic and in transition to digital and green? Where, on the other hand, are the opportunities and resources?
  • How can private funds help us?
  • How to achieve effective public-private partnerships?

Keynote listener:

Vlado Šarenac, Director, Consulting, South East Europe, PwC Slovenia.

The event will be moderated by Aljoša Krdžić, Lawyer from the Law Firm Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners, Co-chair of the AmCham Investment Committee, and President of the AmCham Young Leaders Club.
