21–26 June 2026

San Diego is recognized as one of the leading biotechnology and life sciences hubs in the United States. The delegation will focus on bio-innovation, health technologies, research partnerships, and opportunities for the commercialization of advanced solutions.

Participants will meet with leading industry representatives, research institutions, and innovative companies. The program will also include a visit to the BIO International Convention 2026.

The number of places is limited.

About BIO International Convention

BIO International Convention (June 22–25, 2026) is the largest and most influential global event in the field of biotechnology. Each year, it brings together more than 20,000 leading representatives of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare companies, research institutions, and investors from around the world.

San Diego is considered one of the world’s most important biotechnology hubs, giving participants direct access to top-tier companies, research centers, and investment funds.

There are three types of tickets available, each offering a different level of access to the program and business meetings:

Premier Access
The most comprehensive ticket, which in addition to conference access also includes the BIO Partnering™ platform for scheduling one-on-one business meetings with other participants (companies, investors, research institutions). It also includes access to expert panels, networking events, lunch, the exhibition area, company presentations, and the Start-Up Stadium.

General Access
Includes access to expert panels, networking events, the exhibition area of the conference, as well as company presentations and the Start-Up Stadium, but does not include access to the BIO Partnering™ system for individual business meetings.

Basic Access
A basic ticket that provides access to the exhibition area of the conference, company presentations, and the Start-Up Stadium, without access to expert panels and without partnering meetings.

Provisional delegation program
The delegation program will take place from Monday, June 22, to Friday, June 26, 2026.

The delegation includes:

  • participation in BIO International Convention 2026, one of the largest global events in the field of biotechnology,

  • organized meetings with U.S. companies, investors, and industry representatives,

  • networking events and conference activities as part of the convention.

The delegation includes:

Monday–Wednesday: participation in the BIO International Convention
As part of the convention, we will also organize additional meetings with organizations such as Bio Alabama, the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, and other partners.

Thursday–Friday: visits to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and associations in San Diego

Approx. EUR 420.00–450.00 per night (including all taxes; breakfast is charged separately).

IMPORTANT: Due to current availability and high demand during the convention, we recommend securing your accommodation as soon as possible.

Delegation fee
The participation fee for the delegation is EUR 620 + VAT.

Members of AmCham Slovenia and members of Slovenia Biotech Hills are entitled to a 15% discount, which brings the fee to EUR 527 + VAT.
