Dear AmCham Slovenia members and friends!

We cordially invite you to the AmCham Business Breakfast

Artificial Intelligence: A Complete Revolution, Useful Technology, Trend, or Just a Buzzword?

AmCham Business Breakfast will take place on:

TOPICS:

  • AI is with us every step of the way. How are individuals, the economy, society, and the government using it for societal development? What will happen with those who do not embrace and accept it?
  • What regulatory changes can we expect, and how will they affect business?
  • AI is not a shortcut to knowledge but a tool to help us solve complex problems. Why does it make some people uncomfortable?
  • How should the education system change, and what skills and competencies do we need to be able to use AI for our own benefit?

SPEAKERS:

Good practices of how artificial intelligence can be used in business will be presented by Primož Cigoj, Ph.D., CEO, PC7, and Gregor Kovačič, Executive Director, Experience Division, Zavarovalnica Triglav.

The teaching profession combines knowledge, innovation, and relationships and significantly shapes the future. At the AmCham Business Breakfast, we will announce the winner of the TEACHER OF THE YEAR 2024 title, chosen as part of the Učitelj sem! Učiteljica sem! initiative. The winner will also represent Slovenia next year at the Global Teacher Prize worldwide selection.

We believe that teachers, with the right support, can advocate for improvements in the education system and shape future competencies.

You can read more about the initiative and selection HERE.

The discussion on the benefits and challenges of artificial intelligence will be moderated by Ada Guštin Habuš, Ph.D., Director of AmCham YOUng, and Jure Tepina, Editor-In-Chief of digital assets, PRO PLUS, and Head of Digital Content, CME Adria.
