Matej Potokar, Executive Vice President, CosyLab. Matej Potokar is a business leader with global experience. After a successful international career at Microsoft – 7th largest global technology leader, he recently switched to Cosylab, Slovenian company with entrepreneurial vision and worldwide leader in controls for particle accelerators, both for Proton Therapy systems and for large-scale experimental physics machines. His remit is to drive the global market strategy and expansion for this global award winning and government recognized visionary innovator in control systems and instrumentation.
At Microsoft he led a team of more than 700 employees in 14 states. He led exceptional talents and teams to drive complex business turnarounds, market development and expansion strategies, achieving rapid revenue growth, increased service and operational excellence.
