 Slovenia in the Perspective of Two Experienced Business Leaders 



Our next guests at the AmCham Young Professionals meeting will be two business leaders who came from abroad and are currently seeking challenges in Slovenia. We will be joined by Zooullis Mina, CEO of Pivovarne Laško Union d.o.o. and Adrian Ježina, CEO, Telemach Slovenija.


What kind of challenges puts the local environment in business and personal life, how to transfer experiences from abroad to Slovenia, how to lead teams in different environment, how do corporative culture and local culture come together? We will talk (discuss?) about this and many other topics with our guests.


 



 

Zooullis Mina, the CEO of Pivovarne Laško Union, has made a long and successful career in the food & beverage industry. He acquired his leadership skills and rich experience in both emerging and mature markets, while his excellent market insight and knowledge have helped him attain high goals in the most diverse business environments. Zooullis Mina joined HEINEKEN in 1996, and has since assumed various management positions. Before coming to Slovenia he served as the Chairman and CEO of the Athenian Brewery in Greece and the Chairman of the Greek Brewers Association. He has held Board Seats and represented Heineken’s interest in number of Subsidiary and Associate Boards across various regions. Prior to joining Heineken Zooullis Mina was responsible for some important financial projects at SAB Miller in South Africa. During his career in Greece, at the time of the Greek financial crisis, Zooullis Mina was a board member of the Greek Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Adrian Ježina, CEO, Telemach Slovenija. Adrian Ježina is committed to strengthening Telemach’s market position and ensuring the company delivers the best services to consumers and business users in Slovenia. Before joining Telemach in 2017, Mr. Ježina was the CEO of Siemens Convergence Creators Adria Region. He gained his experience in telecommunications, mobile communications and strategic management in Telekom Austria, Mobitel Bulgaria, Vipnet and B.net Croatia. He holds a Master’s in Economics and has expanded his skills and knowledge in numerous renowned institutions across Europe and USA.
