After two unpredictable years, we expected to see the global economy emerge from the grip of the pandemic and steady itself. Instead, international geopolitical conflicts and war in Europe have remade the global economic landscape, which entered 2023 with even more uncertainty.

We cordially invite you to the AmCham Business Breakfast:

What Will 2023 Bring for Slovenian Business?

TOPICS:

Numerous challenges marked the entry in 2023 for businesses: forecasts of cooling and stagnating economic growth, rising long-term interest rates, high inflation, the energy crisis, and energy prices that have reached record highs in the eurozone, labor shortages, and the fight for the best talent.

As an export-oriented economy, Slovenia, together with Europe, is in a state of great uncertainty, which can mean caution and risks as well as opportunities. How can we become competitive in business and attractive to investors and the workforce?
