The fact is that Slovenia is a sovereign and independent country. The fact is also that we are a part of European Union and we as a country gave commitments we have to respect. In the beginning of June, European Commission’s country specific recommendations will be published, formed within the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs, European Commission. István P. Székely, PhD, Country Director, is in charge of Slovenia and eight other countries: Italy, Malta, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland, Ireland, Poland and Lithuania.

Mr. Székely will be the guest speaker at AmCham Business Breakfast and will share his view on Slovenia’s key economic and reform challenges in his opening speech.
