At the first meeting on February 2, 2024, AmCham Investment Committee members presented their plans for the current year. They highlighted key areas to strengthen a favorable business environment and promote sustainable economic growth.

The Committee has clearly defined its commitment to advocating for the following areas: a predictable tax environment, improving the efficiency of decision-making processes, thoughtful implementation of legislative changes, and emphasizing the role of global companies in the Slovenian business environment. They also highlighted another crucial area – the competitiveness of Europe.

With an emphasis on open dialogue and collaboration, the goal of the AmCham Investment Committee is to encourage constructive dialogue that will enable sustainable and effective changes in the Slovenian business environment, thus enhancing its competitiveness.
