On Tuesday, 22 March 2011, the AmCham Environment and Spatial Committee met the Minister prof.dr.Roko Žarnić on the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planing and handed him a document on the position of “Position Paper”. At this meeting were also attended by Barbara Avčin Tržan, General Director for Environment, dr.Silvo Žlebir, General Director of Environmental Agency, dr. Mitja Pavliha, General Director of Spatial Planing and by AmCham members of Environment and Spatial Committee, dr.Griša Močnik, Aerosol, Maja Šušteršič, M.Sc., Petrol, Andrej Ivanc, Riko and Ajša Vodnik, M.Sc., executive director of AmCham.
The meeting with the Minister Roko Žarnić is assessed as significant progress in cooperation between the business community and the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planing, as both minister and his colleagues showed a high degree of professionalism and openness for cooperation.
