On Thursday, September 3, 2026, we officially brought together the mentors and mentees of the 16th generation of the AmCham Young Mentor program at the Kick-Off event at Pivnica Union.

Ahead of 65 mentoring pairs lies a year of exchanging perspectives, asking honest questions, gaining new insights, and growing together. The Kick-Off was an opportunity for the mentoring pairs to get to know each other better, lay the foundations for their collaboration, and take the first step into their mentoring journey.

The AmCham Young Mentor program connects young individuals with experienced mentors and creates a space for sharing knowledge, experience, and different perspectives. At the same time, mentoring is not a one-way relationship. It is an opportunity for learning and development on both sides.

At the first gathering, the participants also got to know the “rules of the game,” shared their initial expectations, and celebrated the beginning of a new mentoring chapter in a relaxed atmosphere.
