At the meeting of the AmCham Intellectual Property and Digital Regulation Committee, members defined the key priorities for the AmCham Advocacy 2026 brochure, building on the role of intellectual property as a fundamental driver of economic competitiveness.
The discussion highlighted the importance of strategic management of intellectual property—from patents and trademarks to data and trade secrets—as a key mechanism for creating higher added value, enabling more effective commercialization of knowledge, and increasing companies’ international visibility.
Members also focused on the increasingly complex digital regulatory environment, particularly in light of new European legislation, emphasizing the need for a stable, predictable, and innovation-friendly framework for doing business.
Through its proposals and activities, the Commission will contribute to the development of an environment that fosters innovation, strengthens legal certainty, and supports the long-term competitiveness of the Slovenian economy.
